I pulled out my old copy of Devotional Classics yesterday (which I've had since college), hoping for some fresh inspiration or insight. The first excerpt is from the classic Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and the following quote as been on my mind since I read it:
"It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad."Are you still in your shell?
